On September 11, 2001 the Temptations lost one of their biggest fans. Jakki Young was killed along with thousands of other innocent people when terrorists attacked the World Trade Center in New York City where she was working. Jakki was known as "Lyric" to her fellow Tempts fans and she had a special fondness for the words in the songs that we all know so well, often including lyrics in her posts. She hoped to one day build a web site devoted to Tempts lyrics, but she never saw that dream become a reality. We, her fellow Temptations fans and online friends, have built this site in her honor so that her memory will not be forgotten.

Because of the labor-intensive nature of this site, we welcome all visitors to contribute song lyrics as a way of showing tribute to "Lyric." Using the form below, submit any Tempts' lyrics you desire (although we only NEED lyrics from the post-classic Tempts years.) Be sure to include your name (whether real or screen name) if you would like credit and your email address so I can thank you. Also, include the album the song is from and the lead singer if you know them. All submissions are subject to approval by the host and may be edited for accuracy.
